• Inquiry and contact form submissions are retained for up to 3 years or until the associated business relationship concludes, whichever is longer.
• Wholesale account records, including business contact and transaction information, are retained in accordance with applicable food safety and commercial recordkeeping requirements, which may be up to 7 years.
• Newsletter subscriber information is retained until you unsubscribe.
• Technical and automatically collected data is retained per the policies of our platform and analytics providers.
 

7. Data Security

We implement reasonable and appropriate administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures are consistent with the requirements of the Maryland Personal Information Protection Act (Md. Code Ann., Com. Law § 14-3503).
 
However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.
 
In the event of a breach of security that compromises unencrypted personal information and creates a reasonable likelihood of harm to affected individuals, we will notify affected Maryland residents as required by Maryland law, within 45 days of discovering the breach (or as soon as reasonably practicable), after notifying the Office of the Attorney General when required.

BSA Seafood operates as a business-to-business wholesale supplier and does not sell personal data. To the extent MODPA applies to our operations, Maryland residents may have the following rights:
• The right to confirm whether we are processing your personal data and to access that data
• The right to correct inaccuracies in your personal data
• The right to delete personal data you have provided to us
• The right to data portability (to obtain a copy of your data in a portable format)
• The right to opt out of the sale of personal data (note: BSA Seafood does not sell personal data)
